How to Become a REALTOR at Maximum One Greater Atlanta:

Here are the steps to become a REALTOR® at Maximum One Greater Atlanta if you so choose:

• Switch Maximum One Companies from the REALTY company (Maximum One Realty Greater Atlanta – MXGA) to the REALTOR Company (Maximum One Greater Atlanta REALTORS® – MXGR)
  • There are no differences at Maximum One regarding any services or fees or support you receive from the Broker
• More about switching MX1 Companies below
• Once you are on the roster for our REALTOR® Company, then you choose a Local Association of REALTORS® to join – MUST be one that MXGR belongs to:

• 400 North Board of Realtors
• Atlanta Board of Realtors
• Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors
• Cherokee Association of Realtors
• Cobb Association of Realtors
• Fayette County Board of Realtors
• Metro South Association of Realtors
• NAMAR
• Northwest Metro
• Paulding Board of Realtors
• West Georgia Board of Realtors
• West Metro Board of Realtors & NAVICA MLS
• You would contact the Local Association yourself & follow their procedures for joining
  • Includes an Orientation
• When you pay dues at the Local Level, part of your money also goes to the State Level – Georgia Association of REALTORS® (GAR) & the National Level – National Association of REALTORS® (NAR)
• Once you join a Local Board & become a REALTOR®:
  • You may now use the GAR contracts at no additional costYou may now use the copyrighted term “REALTOR®” in your emails, flyers, online whenever marketing yourself or properties
• You may now participate in the Association of REALTORS Top Producer Awards Recognition aka “Million Dollar Club Awards”
• You may now take REALTOR Desgnation Classes and upon successful completion, use those REALTOR Designations in your email, marketing, online, etc..

Information Specific to Maximum One for Switching Between REALTY Company to REALTOR® Company:

To transfer from MXGA (Maximum One Realty Greater Atlanta) to MXGR (Maximum One Greater Atlanta, REALTORS,) here is what is involved:

• Join a Board of REALTORS®
  • Must join one that we belong to
  • For most current list go to: www.eAGENTweb.com  click “Blog” click tab at top “Boards of REALTORS®”
• Complete Independent Contractor Agreement (ICA) for REALTOR® Company (MXGR)
  • Agent Services Coordinator will send to you via Docusign
  • Do not complete until you are ready to switch
• Agent Services Coordinator will transfer your license to the new company in GREC, & FMLS & GAMLS
• Any Pending transactions will close with Realty Company (MXGA)
  • You will no longer have access to them in FMLS or GAMLS so please contact Broker / Compliance Broker for any assistance
• Any Active Listings will have to be transferred to REALTOR® Company (MXGR)
  • FMLS 116 – “Transfer to Another FMLS Company”
  • GAMLS Listing Transfer / Withdraw Form – “Transfer to another GAMLS Company”
  • You will have to re-list them in FMLS & GAMLS under the new Broker Code MXGR01
